Mervyn worked in the NHS Estates and Facilities profession for close to 30 years and has extensive experience of managing Water Hygiene in a complex multi-site healthcare organisation. His knowledge and experience extends across estates and facilities operations, compliance, health and safety, change management and business continuity planning. He is registered as an Incorporated Engineer, is a fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management  (IHEEM)and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is an active member of both IHEEM and the Healthcare Estates and Facilities Association (HefmA) holding national and branch officer roles. His academic background includes a Masters degree in Business . Mervyn is an independent Authorising Engineer (Water) and a visiting tutor providing training in Estates and Facilities Management and Water Hygiene / Legionella Management
